Justin has spent his life in the show cattle industry. Of his many accomplishments he can include; clipping and fitting numerous National Champions for the likes of Eldon Krebs, Mike Hartman, Chan Phillips, Larry Green, Pieper Red Angus and Tucker Cattle Company; running show barns for operations including Deer Valley and Sullivan Farms; and managing herds for George Seward and Nick Reimann.

Upon leaving Tucker Cattle Company, Justin started Tracy Cattle, a maternally driven Hereford and Angus herd. In 2014, after marrying Kaylee McCollam, the Tracy Cattle brand expanded to include Chianina and Maine-Anjou influenced cattle. In this short time, Justin has welcomed the challenges of the Chianina breed. He was elected to the ACA Board of Directors in 2018 where he has served as chairman of the Genetics and Abnormalities Committee, and most recently was elected to serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors in 2020, 2021, and 2022 and President of the Board in 2023. Justin and Kaylee developed three outstanding Chi-Influenced bulls into National Champions; MEFC Unanimous 542C in 2018, TRAC Fetish 750E in 2019, and TRAC Enabler 850F in 2020. In 2023, Tracy Cattle moved its operations from Wellfleet, NE to Gordon, NE.

The pair feel the future is bright at Tracy Cattle as they raise their family and expand their brand, while enthusiastically working toward two main goals that drive their business: 1) share their industry experience with young people to help them achieve success, in and out of the show ring; 2) offer a diverse group of affordable breeding stock that can compete at any level, but more importantly, perform in the pasture.
